Fired FBI director James Comey testified before the Senate intelligence committee “under oath” Thursday June 8.  While the mainstream media is trying to have its witch hunt, two very important points will be largely glazed over.  

The first most obvious point is that Trump was not the subject of the so-called “Russian collusion” investigation, which the fired FBI director admitted.  However, this information pales comparison to the lie that Comey told to the Senate intelligent committee regarding the leaking of his personal memos to the press.

When questioned by Senator Susan Collins as to whether he had showed copies of his personal memos, he replied “Yes”.

When asked by Collins, who he shared the information with, Comey testified , “I woke up in the middle of the night on Monday (May 15^th) night because it didn’t dawn on me that originally that there might be corroboration for our conversation. There might be a tape. My judgment was, I need to get that out into the public square. I asked a friend of mine to share the content of the memo with a reporter.”

The timeline that Comey has testified to is erroneous.  According to him he never leaked anything until after May 15^th.  However, a CNN story  on May 12^th reported “A source close to Comey told CNN’s Jake Tapper Wednesday (May 10^th) there are two specific reasons why Trump fired the FBI director:”

May 10^th is actually prior to President Trump’s  May 12^th tweet regarding “tapes”, which contradicts Comey’s story that he did leak in response to Trump’s tweet.

Another statement within the same CNN story also contradicts Comey’s leak date.  The Story reports, “Comey is ‘Not worried about any tapes’ of conversations between him and Trump, a source familiar with the matter told CNN on Friday (May 12^th), adding that ‘if there is a tape, there’s nothing he is worried about’ that could be on it.”  

The question is if Comey was indeed worried about the potential of "tapes" to prompt him to leak, then why was he not concerned about them on May 12th, the date that cnn said the "sources familiar" said he was not worried about tapes?

It is not possible for there to have been a leaked statement on the same day of Trump’s “tape” tweet if Comey decided not to leak until he woke up in the middle of the night on May 15^th as a result of the tweet, which he says is when he called his “friend”.

According to news reports on May 12^th, NBC also quoted “unknown sources” close to Comey making the same claim that Comey “wasn’t worried” about tapes.

But CNN is not the only report that came out prior to the leak as asserted by Comey. In a press statement, President Trumps attorney, Marc Kasowitz, asserted that James Comey leaked privileged information to the press.  He also claimed that the New York times reported on the Comey’s memos before the “tapes” tweet was posted.

The USA Today alleged in an article posted on June 8th, that there was no evidence to support the attorny's claim regarding the New YorkTimes. However, the article by David Jackson, is wrong as the New York Times did post an article prior to Comey's alleged leak date. 

A New York Times  article on May 11th titled "In a Private Dinner, Trump Demanded Loyalty. Comey Demurred", is based on information from the leaked memos. This comes a full day ahead of President Trump's "tapes" tweet, thus discounting the claim that Comey leaked his memos after and in response to the tweet.

While there are questions as to whether James Comey should face penalties for leaking information, the future may also find charges of perjury.  After all, the former top law enforcement official did lie under oath, which is a very serious offence given the circumstances. 

Regardless of the future potential legal procedings in store, it is certain now, that President Donald Trump likely made a wise decision by terminating Comey's employment. His ability to lead an orgaization is now seriously hampered since his dishonesty has become evident.

Terrorists strikes terrorist state as Isis claims responsibility for the two attacks in Iran’s capital on June 7 which claimed lives.  Unconfirmed reports by Iran’s state-run news puts the body count at 12 not, including the 6 attackers, with several wounded.

One of the attacks occurred inside the parliament building where a session was in progress resulting in 11 deaths and a stand-off which lasted approximately 4 hours.

According to the AP, other attack symbolically took place at the tomb-shrine of the Ayatollah Khomeini, the leader of the revolution that overthrew the shah.  

A New York Times article quotes Iran, stating that the attacks are linked to President Trump’s recent visit to the Middle East region which supposedly emboldened Saudi Arabia and other Sunni style Islamic regimes.  

The article states that according to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard and hard-line analyst, Hamidreza Targhi, Saudi Arabia and its allies’ ideology are more closely related to ISIS. Iran’s double-speak is obviously contrary to the purpose of Trump’s Middle East visit, which of course was to find ways to defeat  ISIS.

In a Reuters report, Iran’s Revolutionary Guard issued the statement, “This terrorist attack happened only a week after the meeting between the U.S. president and the (Saudi) backward leaders who support terrorists. The fact that Islamic State has claimed responsibility proves that they were involved in the brutal attack."

Although Saudi Arabia has denied any involvement in the attack, the accusation comes only days after Riyad and other Sunni allies cut relations with Qatar for its backing of Iran and other terrorist organizations.  

 However, it is much more likely that these rare attacks in Tehran result from a separate power-struggle between the terrorist sects, Islamic State (ISIS) and Iran who supports Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, and the Council of American Islam Relations (CAIR).

According to deputy interior minister, Mohammad Hossein Zolfaghari, attackers dressed as women stormed through parliament’s main entrance in Tehran.  One of them detonated a suicide vest.

A journalist for state run media reported, “I was inside the parliament when the shooting happened.  Everyone was shocked and scared. I saw two men shooting randomly.”

The Islamic State’s Amaq statement comes as a surprise is it points out a subtle irony.  Although Isis is a Sunni faction and Iran is Shiite, Iran has contributed to both types of terrorism by contributing to the likes of CAIR-connected Hamas and Hezbollah.    

Today is the 73^rd anniversary of the D-Day invasion and, according to a Google search, no one in the mainstream media is reporting it. In the spirit of America hatred, the mainstream media seems to have completely forgotten about one of the largest scale invasions that the U.S. ever took part in, costing almost 2500 American lives.

Today is the anniversary of the D-Day. Allied forces planned and executed one of the largest invasions in history which played a major role in turning the tides against the Germans and ultimately lead to the defeat of Hitler.

It is difficult to say exactly why the mainstream media refuses to mention the anniversary.  It is possible, that indoctrination against America in the public school systems over the past 40 is part of the cause.  However in the “politically correct” climate of the mainstream media, it is likely that it is not fashionable for these media outlets to report anything that reminds the public of America’s real history. 

According to the mainstream media, having pride in the United States is apparently against the current narrative.  This was clearly demonstrated on MSNBC  on June 2, when Joe Scarborough of “Morning Joe” marginalized the Trump voter base as being a very small portion of the people overall.   Trump voters , or course, are known for their pride in America.

Scarborough was on a rant in opposition to Trump pulling out of the Paris Climate Treaty when he, without real evidence, made the claim that president advisor Steve Bannon was the person that actually made the decision to pull out. He was so upset that he began referring to Bannon as the president . But Scarborough didn’t start getting upset until he started describing the small sizeof Trump support base.  After that he said “President Bannon” so many times that many speculate that he actually temporarily forgot who the president really is.

While the media doesn’t say directly that American Pride is bad, it attacks and stereotypes those who support people and policies that show American pride. Essentially anyone who supports the Republican Party, Trump Supporters, Ted Cruz supporters, The Heritage Foundation, and similar organizations, are “de-facto racists, homophobes and bigots”.

While the mainstream media does indeed make it clear to Americans that it is against American exceptionalism, reporting on the D-Day invasion, that lost so many lives, would be more of a humanitarian endeavor by recognizing those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. But it would seem that Media pride is more important than paying respects to those who gave their life. 

Progressive journalist and talk radio host, Leslie Marshall of the Huffington Post, took a political stab at Vice President, Mike Pence on Twitter in response to a solemn condolence statement that he made to the British people.

The statement, which attacked Pence with the typical progressive rhetoric, was inappropriate as it was political debate and untimely in the immediate aftermath of the third terrorist attack in that area in as many months.

The Vice President’s tweet stated, “Our thoughts & prayers are w/ the victims, courageous first responders & all the people of London. As President Trump said: WE ARE WITH YOU.”

This heartfelt statement was met with immediate criticism by Leslie Marshall, who instead of joining Pence in consoling the terror-torn community, decided to attack him with a reply tweet “Of which nearly 20% are Muslim did you mean them too?”
