On Monday, July 11th, Donald Trump hosted a prayer circle in the Oval Office in which hands were laid on him by several pastors. This will likely cause criticism from the left, who recently bashed Trump for standing up for “Western” values in his recent speech in Poland.
According to the Daily Mail, prayer meeting attendees included Evangelical pastor, Rodney Howard-Browne and his wife, who led the prayer in the Oval Office. Howard-Browne, a pastor from South Africa who came to the United States in 1987, posted to Facebook, the image of Trump with hands laid on him.
Other attendees included Johnnie Moore, former senior vice president of the well-known evangelical school, Liberty University; Vice President, Mike Pence; former Republican Congresswoman, Michelle Bachmann; Pastor of Prestonwood Baptist Church in Plano, TX, Jack Graham; and other spiritual leaders who were invited by the Office of Public Liason.
